Where's The New Album?!?!

Geoff! Summer is over, where's the new album?!?! Tell me, what's the deal!?

​Well, I had hoped to get Acquiescence out by August, but then the summer happened. August came and went and now it's almost October!! Oh, and then my ADD took over and I started working on my rock opera again and then Kim Rose flew into town for another super songwriting weekend, etc etc, excuses, excuses...

Not all was lost tho. I did manage to finish the piano tracks in the interim, start recording my vocals and get a head start on preliminary mixes.

I'm 85% done, but I honestly don't want to rush the final mixing stages and such. SOOO, it's looking like a fall release at this point...most likely at the end of October (since 3/4's of all my solo albums have been released in either September or October, so it feels right). UPDATE: since originally drafting this blog in early September, it may be looking like November at this point. So if you find yourself also asking "Geoff! Where's The New Album?!?!...it'll be coming soon.

In the meantime, please enjoy the new album teaser video below. The teaser includes a song called "Something Beautiful" and actually features Kim Rose on backing vocals. During the aforementioned songwriting session, we took a break and she lent her vocal talents to this tune off of the new album. I hope you enjoy it!
