Last week, my newest album, Acquiescence. was released. To a humbling reception and great feedback, the album was quite a success...moreso because I actually got the darn thing out. lol Anyway, I just wanted to give you a little glimpse into the making of this album. In Part I of the making of Acquiescence, I share how the album's inspiration and inception all began. What started as a change in my morning routine transpired into an albums worth of new songs. Instead of jumping on the computer, I decided to more or less "jump into my mind", as it seemed there were still a few things I needed to get out of my creative mind that I couldn't quite touch within my 2016 release Citizen 603: Somewhere In The Near Future. So, as much as the songs from Acquiescence seemed like an accident or come out of thin air; in hindsight, the songs and content was always there. I hope you enjoy this first part.
