Hello..hello...hello...is there anybody out there???
I know it's been awhile since I've written a blog or sent out an update of any kind...and I KNOW you've been wondering what I've been up to...
...but if you haven't well here's the rundown on what you can expect from me.
So coming off my two-part album THE FORFEIT KING last year, I jumped right back into a few other projects of mine that needed attending to.
First off is a new single from my 80’s inspired side project Citizen 603.
Entitled “Not From This Earth” the tune is reminiscent of mid-80’s Genesis. Think “Turn It On Again” mixed with the majestic guitar gods such as Joe Satriani or Steve Vai.
This song hits all streaming services on Friday, May 27th and will feature a spacey music video that Mathew Pike helped me with a couple weeks ago. Be sure to follow Citizen603 on the socials and music streaming services HERE.
I actually used my Dad's guitar that I first learned how to play on in the 90's which segues perfectly into the next project on the list...
Killer Pizza was the first band I had when I was in high school. Founded with my friends Mathew Pike and Aaron Pasisz. Originally inspired by such bands as Led Zeppelin, Green Jellÿ, Pantera and whatever was on the radio in the mid-90's, we managed to create an albums worth of songs under the KP moniker.
Although we only played a handful of shows, which consisted of birthday parties, basement jams and the occasional church youth group function, Killer Pizza was a major building block of who I am today as a musician.
We've been hard at work with cartoonist Michael Naus & voice over artist Rex Anderson to bring you a cheesy punk rock comic book musical.
Keeping with the 90's aesthetic, there has also been talks about possible doing a small run of cassette tapes for the album.
Don't know yet...Would you buy a cassette tape?
Follow the Killer Pizza socials HERE so you don't miss anything!
In final, I'm super stoked about finally getting these projects off my desk in hopes of having time by the end of this year to start finishing up my puppet musical.
