The Darkest Of Summers is a deeply personal collection of songs inspired by loss, remembrance, and the passage of time. Written over nearly a decade, the album pays tribute to those who left this world too soon while reflecting on my own mortality, the life I’ve lived, and the legacy I’ll leave behind.

With music dating back to 2011, the impetus for The Darkest Of Summers came in late 2012, when I received the heartbreaking news that my grandmother had passed away. Over the following eight years, I would be forced to say goodbye to several other people in my life, inspiring more songs along the way.
T.D.O.S. is a tribute to those who left this world too soon, as well as an introspective look at my own mortality. Through these songs, I reflect on the people who have shaped my life, the time we have here, what I’ve done with mine, and what I’ll ultimately leave behind.
